Prayer for Challenges of Life - S3-002

Our Father, with grateful thoughts we aspire to serve you. We seek to know how best to develop an attitude of service that is most pleasing to Thee. With nobility of purpose, in spite of failures along the way we give Thee thanks. Where there are heavy hearts, bless and strengthen; where hunger stalks because of the inhumanity of man, suffer us not to fall away in selfishness. Help as we minister dutifully and willingly, binding up the torn places and destroying hatred with love.

When the harvest of our deeds is reaped, may there be some fruits of Thy Spirit. And with the easing of the agonies of suffering, may the calm of your peace rest upon us. Give us patience in living together peacefully. Grant us swiftness in our promotion of the purpose of Jesus.

May every day be one of thanksgiving and gratitude for the wonders of life. As we face the future, with the responsibility for helping our family toward spiritual unity, make us more attentive to lifting our spiritual levels by sharing Thy trust.
