Prayer for Difficult Situations- S2-001

Father, we come to you knowing that there is not one else on whom to call. Our hearts are heavy; we have been disappointed. Things have not turned out as we would have liked. But we know that you hear our prayer and offer us your consolation and guidance.

Where we have been mistaken, correct us; where we have been stubborn, enlighten us; where we have been careless, make us more attentive to our duties. Gracious Father, fill our minds with the wisdom we need and bless us with insights that lead us in the right direction for us.

Help us to be inspired and in the right spirit, approach the new day with determination to start over. May we encourage one another and give support where it is needed. Use us to comfort one another. May we always acknowledge you so that you may direct our path.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
